Who can apply?
Qualified government entities, such as police departments, can apply and be granted access. More specifically access is reserved for criminal justice agencies (CJA) in the public or private sector and are subject to qualification prior to being granted access. A CJA is defined as a court, a governmental agency, or any subunit of a governmental agency which performs the administration of criminal justice pursuant to a statute or executive order and which allocates a substantial part of its annual budget to the administration of criminal justice. State and federal Inspectors General Offices are included.
Access can also be extended to noncriminal justice agencies (NCJA) in both the public or private sector upon review. The general definition of a NCJA is an entity or any subunit thereof that provides services primarily for purposes other than the administration of criminal justice.
Agencies typically granted access:
- Airport Police Departments
- Campus Law Enforcement
- Conservation Law Enforcement
- Dispatch Centers
- Emergency Management

At ALEN, we believe that software for your officers and dispatchers should be easy to use and should support the workflow they are already accustom to. Our integrated suite of products can be used independently of each other or they can be used all together allowing data to flow freely between each application.
These are the question we ask ourselves before we deploy an enhancement to our system:
- Is it good for law enforcement?
- Is it good for communities?
- Is it good for all agencies?
If, and only if we can answer YES to these three questions, do we include the enhancement in our system. For you, this means that you are not paying for some feature you don’t need, and you are not paying for some feature only the largest agencies can benefit from. While we might not have all the bells and whistles that some of the players in our space have, we have the RIGHT ONES for your agency at a subscription fee you can afford.
We look forward to working with your department to uncover what is most pressing so that we can take the burden off your officers and enable them to do their jobs better, faster and easier.
Please look around and let us know how we can help!
Records Management System (RMS)
Fight Crime Not Paperwork
ALEN provides a functional Records Management System (RMS) that can help prevent, reduce and control crime, improve community policing and problem solving capabilities as well as improve operational efficiency and resource management.
Instead of your officers logging into applications spread out over several systems, using our cloud platform allows for centralized storage and access to all of your agencies information in real-time.
Officers no longer have to hand-write incident reports, meaning that once they key-it-in and hit send from the field, their supervisor can review, approve or reject that report from anywhere.
